Haven’t blogged in a while so here’s a little update for you!
Dan and I went and saw Derren Brown’s stage show, Svengali, at the beginning of the month. It was an amazing show in a beautiful theater. I’d tell you all about it, but Derren made us promise not to spoil it via the interwebs. It was amazing though, Derren Brown is just incredible and it was great to see him live.
England has been having some unusually warm weather lately. This inspired Dan and I (mostly me) to start getting a garden ready. We have a back garden now and have the space to have a little container garden. So one weekend, we went to a garden center and got all the supplies. When we got home, I set up the beds and planted the seedlings. That night we had a frost. So the seedling last less than 24 hours, awesome first attempt at a garden!
But last weekend, we picked up some seeds at the pound shop and started them indoors where they will be protected from the elements until they are big and strong.
We’ve put the seedlings next to our Ikea orchid because that started doing crazy well (see Christmas pic for comparison). Hopefully Ikea orchid will inspire them to grow.
Dan and I are going to have a busy next couple of months. With his bonus for the year, Dan is getting kite surfing lessons over Easter weekend. I’m hoping the weather is nice so I can go down to the beach and watch.
After his kite surfing weekend, Dan is heading to Amsterdam with the guys for a bit.
Then my mom and dad are coming over here at the end of April! Very excited about this, especially now that dad has the ok to fly after his back surgery.
And then two days after my parents leave, it’s off to Berlin!
